Hawaii Ranks 1st in U.S Health Improving Survey



The annuall measure of the United States health status shows that Hawaii is rank 1 in the United States in terms of healthiness. The most significant findings from the health report were:

  • A decline in the smoking rate, down from 21.2% of the adult population in 2012 to 19.6%. Largest decline was in Navada
  • A drop in physical activity outside of work for 30 days. 26.2% to 22.9% 
  • Obese notifications stayed around the same. Defined as people 30 pounds over heavyweight
